Our Story
Sanjeevani Charitable Trust was established on 3rd December 2012 in Mumbai with a powerful vision—to create awareness about organ donation, eye donation, and body donation and inspire people to make life-saving decisions.
What started as a small initiative has now grown into a meaningful movement reaching thousands of individuals across communities, schools, colleges, and organizations. Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to break myths, spread awareness, and encourage people to pledge donation, helping build a more compassionate society.
Founder’s Vision
Our foundation is built on a simple yet profound belief:
“No life should be lost due to lack of awareness.”
The founder envisioned a society where organ donation is not feared but embraced, where people understand the power of giving life even after death. Through continuous efforts, the trust aims to transform mindsets and make donation a socially accepted and respected responsibility.

Why This Cause Matters
Every year, thousands of patients in India lose their lives while waiting for organ transplants. The primary reason is not the lack of medical facilities—but the lack of awareness, hesitation, and misconceptions surrounding donation.
At Sanjeevani Charitable Trust, we are committed to:
Educating people about the importance of organ, eye, and body donation
Eliminating myths and fears
Encouraging individuals to take a life-saving pledge
Promoting a culture of giving and humanity
